Terry Riley - Shri Camel (1978)

Who's this kook???!  During the 1960s, composers went nuts!  This guy got famous doing "All-Night Concerts", jamming from evening until sunrise using an old organ harmonium ("with a vacuum cleaner motor blower blowing into the ballasts") and tape-delayed saxophone.  Families would show up with sleeping bags and hang out all night. Obsessed with minimalism, indian classical music, and jazz - this guy is a living legend.  Check out the album Shri Camel, and your life will change for-ev-er......
